Custom Glamour Hair ExtensionsBlonde Hair Extensions

Jessica Hyllarée's custom clip on hair extensions line is the first and only hair extensions line designed specifically for women with fine or compromised hair, Her extensions also work great for women who may have beautiful thick hair now, but want length and don't want to damage their hair with permanent extensions.  Jessica is dedicated to providing a premium product that will look and feel completely natural. She uses a micro-light wefting system and tiny micro-clips so that the extensions are virtually weightless and will not pull on the hair like cheap store-bought clip on extensions and hairpieces. Jessica teaches each client how to attach and detach the hair clips. They are so easy to use that after practicing with Jessica, all clients can do it in less than a few minutes.  Because the hair clips are so secure, you can sleep with the extensions or swim with them! And because the hair quality is so high, the extensions can be curled, straightened, washed, worn in a ponytail or updo and colored.

Why tape extensions can be so damaging to the hair

DAMAGE FROM TAPE EXTENSIONS

I actually consider tape extensions to be the worst extensions available because they appeal to so many women because of the affordable price, yet can cause damage the fastest because the sticky adhesive attaches to so many hairs at once. I have had many clients come to me after experiencing major hair loss due to tape extensions. In many cases the removal oil does not fully dissolve the adhesive and the only way to remove the tape is to pull out the clients own hair. It is worst for women with fine hair, and can result in broken hairs and bald patches. The client below came to me after using tape extensions from a Manhattan hair extensions salon.  When I met with her, she told me that the salon had tried to remove the extensions but that the adhesive would not dissolve. The second photo is what the actual removed extensions looked like – you can see that they pulled out her own hair at the root, leaving patches of missing hair on her head.  She was a young women, in her 30's, and was devastated about having bald spots and broken hair due to these extensions, especially when the salon had told her that tape would not damage her hair. She was also frustrated with not being able to thouroughly wash her hair, as it is advised to not wash one's hair frequently with tape extensions. I designed a custom-made hair extensions set for her using tiny micro clips and micro thin wefting so that they would be superlight and not cause any tension to her hair so that her hair could grow back. Now she can have beautiful hair that does not damage her own hair and she can no wash her hair whenever she wants!

Why keratin infusions can be so bad for the hair

Damage from keratin fusion extensions

This photo is of a pretty blonde woman who came to me after getting expensive keratin fusion extensions at a high end salon in London a few weeks prior and asked me if clip ons could be a better option because her existing extensions were itchy and she was frustrated being unable to thoroughly wash her hair. I told her to get the extensions removed and come back. She called me the next day and told me that the removal salon had to cut her hair so short because the extensions were so matted and tangled and that the glue used would not dissolve. We opted for a small hairpiece with beautiful highlights and dark roots to cover the tangled spots and matted hair until her hair finally grew out and she could wear clip on extensions.

Why microbeads can be so damaging to the hair

I have also worked with women who have had dreadful results from microbead extensions, which although do not use heat or glue, can still cause matting and hair breakage. The way microbead extensions work is that small pieces of extensions hair are attached to small sections of your own hair with a miniscule silicone-lined bead. The bead is then tightened to hold it in place.  No glue or heat is used and so these are considered less damaging than glue or tape, however, they can easily slide out and if they are not moved up by a salon professional every couple of weeks the hair at the root can become completely matted and tangled. There is no way to brush out the matted hair because the microbead is attached right below the root. So there is no way to comb out the knots. After a few weeks of these knots often leaves women with irreversible damage and often the tangled sections need to be cut out, leaving patches of short hair. Another common problem with microbeads is that women are advised to never fall asleep with their hair wet. However I know that sometimes I don't have a choice but to wash my hair before bed. Especially with a young baby I cannot imagine having to blowdry my hair right before bed! Yet falling asleep with wet hair can cause the microbead extensions to tangle into a big knot. The photo below is a client that came to me devastated after having to cut a big chunk of hair in the back because the microbead caused so much tangling. We had to cover the missing patch of hair with a hairpiece to hide the damage.

Why cheap clip-onextensions can be so damaging to the hair

I also have many clients coming to see me after having purchased cheap extensions online or in local stores and salons. These extensions are often heavy and bulky and use large flat-tooth clips that can pull on your hair. It is estimated that 99% of the hair extensions on the market are made from less expensive hair consisting of a mix of human hair, synthetic hair (plastic fibers) and processed animal (horse) hair. When this mix is processed, it initially looks shiny and lustrous because it is coated with silicone. But often after a few wears it will get dry, rough and tangled. There is no U.S. law requiring that hair advertised as "human hair" must be 100% human, and so many women are tricked into buying something that is not real. Even the word "remy" has lost its significance in the hair industry because packages of hair are labeled remy but actually consist of this mix of human, synthetic and animal hair.

Why is theJessica Hyllarée line of custom clip ons hair extensions so different?

There are five main things that make Jessica Hyllarée hair extensions so unique from any other hair extensions:

  • JESSICA USES CERTIFIED HIGH GRADE HUMAN VIRGIN HAIR
  • JESSICA'S EXTENSIONS WILL NOT DAMAGE HAIR LIKE PERMANENT EXTENSIONS OR CHEAP BULKY CLIP-ONS
  • JESSICA'S EXTENSIONS ARE THE ONLY HAIR EXTENSIONS LINE DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR WOMEN WITH FINE OR COMPROMISED HAIR OR WOMEN WITH THICK HAIR BUT DO NOT WANT TO DAMAGE THEIR NATURAL HAIR
  • JESSICA'S PERSONALIZED CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT WILL SURPASS YOUR HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS
  • JESSICA'S CUSTOMIZATION OF EACH HAIRPIECE TO ENSURE A PERFECT FLAWLESS MATCH

I have spent over a decade relentlessly researching hair suppliers and have found reputable reliable sources in Europe (largely from Russia and Italy), and India that supply pure human, virgin remy hair directly from the donor. The hair is sanitized to meet U.S. regulations and otherwise unprocessed. I choose only the finest quality 100% human European Remi hair, Virgin Indian hair, virgin Russian hair and cuticle Brazilian hair, and I carefully inspect each bundle of hair prior to using the hair in my extensions or hairpieces. I guarantee the quality of each hairpiece that I design, and clients appreciate the integrity behind my products. Basically with hair, you get what you pay for.

After learning about the myriad of hair extension methods and techniques, I decided that I would never do keratin, glue, weaves, tape, microbeads or other permanent extensions on any woman's hair because of the damage those methods can cause, and because I know that there is a better alternative. I care much too much about my clients to ever risk damaging their hair. Jessica Hyllarée
I've worked with hundreds of women in New York City who have come to me after their hair had been severely damaged by permanent extensions or cheap heavy clip-ons. These women come to me desperate for an alternative because they do not want to give up on having beautiful hair.

There are cheap extensions available but if they do not last after a few wears or frizz after using a curling iron, then it is not worth it. I stand by my commitment to provide my clients with the most superior product on the market and I guarantee satisfaction. I would never use a system that could damage my client's hair which is why I would never offer hair extensions services that involved glue, tape or anything adhesive that could leave my client with less hair than she started with. I love what I do. I wear my own custom extensions everyday and it is a labor of love for me to share my passion with others… XOXO Jessica Hyllarée
